Fencing is often referred to as "physical chess", combining strategic thinking with physical training. It develops cognitive skills, coordination, and focus. But fencing fosters skills that go well beyond the sport.
Fencers learn to think quickly and act decisively under pressure. Because of this exceptional mental training, fencers are among the highest achievers in academics and life.
